Hi! I'm Jo,Owner, Creator and Artisan here at Tulanari. It’s by no accident you are here, and I’m so very glad that you are. As a Woman, I know what it’s like to wear a lot of "hats" (let's say earrings). And I know you do too. I know the feeling of balancing it all, doing it all, and just wanting to feel seen. I have dedicated this brand to honoring and empowering the strong, resilient, incredible, bad ass women out there. The ones who don’t even know their own beautiful power. I see you and I appreciate you for being you. Keep shining your light Sister, the world needs more of what only you can give it..and on the days you need a little reminder, there will always be Tulanari.

It’s our Mission at Tulanari to lift other women up, and to give back through intentional, charming and perfectly imperfect wearable art. We want to remind you of your power, your beauty and that you are uniquely you. Our earrings are named after Real Women, with Real Stories that inspire us. You can find their stories in the description line of each earring. We hope that our earrings are a wonderful addition to your life and every occasion. They are the perfect mix of Boho, Class, Neutrality and Fun. Dress them up, or dress them down, we hope you feel the love and energy that is behind our pieces. They are made full of intention by a Woman, with Women in Mind.
GIVING BACK
Did you know that over 500 Million People worldwide do not have what they need to manage their periods each month? These Women, Girls and Menstruators have to stay home from School and from Work during their period. What if no one ever taught you about menstruation, or worse: what if menstrual taboos and stigmas made you feel ashamed of your body? This is heartbreaking, and is the truth to so many World Wide.
Days For Girls is an organization that helps provide Cost-Effective, Safe, Sustainable and Contextually relevant products and education to help women and girls manage their periods and engage in livelihood activities.

OUR EARRINGS
Our ladies are made in beautiful Salt Lake City, Utah in small, perfectly imperfect batches in our home. Each of our pieces are named after Real Women and their story can be found in the description of each earring. We find inspiration for our wearable art every where we look, but mostly Mother Nature and her magical earthy tones. Our pieces are a perfect mix of Boho, Funky, Trendy, Classy and Fun. Each earring is 100% unique and charming in it’s own way, just like you and I. We don’t hold our jewelry to impossibly perfect standards around here, we do however strive for the quality and energy that goes into them. Our jewelry is full of intention and purpose and we hope that you feel it when you wear or receive them. Each earring is hypoallergenic and lightweight as I have sensitive skin and know the struggle of finding a trustworthy earring.
TULA = BALANCE // NARI = WOMAN
Our name is two Sanskrit words put together, to celebrate and honor the Balance that only Women can do. We chose to name this brand in ancient Sanskrit because this language has so much power, meaning and feeling inside of it. It’s words that don’t always translate technically into English. We wanted the name to embody women and their powerful balance. We wanted it to feel powerful and beautiful and all things in between.
LOTUS IN MANDALA FORM
The Lotus Flower is incredibly special to me. It symbolizes that even from the muddiest, dirty of waters, a beautiful flower emerges. Reminding us that no matter where you come from or your current circumstances, you have the potential to grow and to bloom into something perfectly imperfect and beautiful. It is a reminder that your potential has been there inside of you all along. You bring something to the world that no one else can, and I think that is incredible.
A Mandala symbolizes that everything in the Universe is connected. Our energies are never ending, and a Mandalais unique to each individual who sees it. You may notice the dot work or the intricate lines. And that, is your unique experience with theMandala, such is the journey of life.
This Particular Mandala Lotus was created 100% for us by our Dear Friend, Tattoo Artist, Bad Ass Woman and Beautiful Soul, Lauren Merritt.
